Psychologist. Sex and relationship therapist. A space for conversations most people never got to have.
I’m Anushka, a psychologist working with individuals and couples on sexual health, intimacy, and relationship concerns.
I started this work because so many people carry questions about sex and relationships that they’ve never been able to ask anyone. Not their families, not their friends, sometimes not even their partners. These conversations get avoided, not because they don’t matter, but because most of us were never given the language or the space to have them.
My work is to provide that space. Professionally, without judgment, and grounded in clinical training.
I work with individuals over 18, across all genders and sexualities.
No two clients get the same session. Here’s how I decide what a particular session or case needs, and what each part of my training looks like in practice.
This is a conversation, not an assessment. I’ll ask about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and a bit of your background. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. No judgment for where you’re starting from.
Anxiety before intimacy, avoidance, or habits that keep repeating usually respond better to structured, behavioural work. This includes specific exercises, paced practice, and small changes that build over time.
For couples, I draw on the Gottman Method. It is research backed and focuses on communication, conflict, and rebuilding trust rather than assigning blame to either partner.
I was trained across all three because real cases rarely fit one box. A single client might need narrative work in one session and behavioural tools in the next. Deciding which tool fits which moment is, honestly, most of the clinical skill involved.
I work with individuals and couples navigating:
Whether you’re coming in alone or with a partner, the goal stays the same: to help you understand what’s happening and build a way forward.
Sexual health and relationship struggles are common. They are also some of the most under discussed concerns in mental health, particularly because of the way we’re brought up to think and talk about them.
I approach every session the same way: with respect, complete confidentiality, and zero judgment. You are not the first person to bring this concern into a room, and you will not be met with discomfort or surprise.
If something you read here resonated with you, that’s usually a good enough reason to reach out.
