No confusing process, no surprises. Here’s exactly what to expect, from your first message to ongoing sessions.
You can book directly through my website or send me a short message about what’s bringing you in. A line or two is enough. You don’t need a formal explanation of your concern before we speak.
Sessions are available online and in person, depending on what works for you. Online sessions take place over a secure video call and follow the same structure as an in person session.
Nothing. No forms to fill and no history to organise in advance. If it helps, you can jot down a few things you want to cover, but it’s not required.
Your first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We’ll spend this session on:
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’re ready to. There’s no pressure to explain everything in one sitting. There’s also no judgment for where you’re starting from, even if you’re not fully sure why you’re here.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear sense of how we’d work together going forward, including an estimated number of sessions where possible.
Therapy isn’t linear. Most concerns, especially around sexual health and relationships, take a few sessions before they start feeling clearer. Early sessions are usually about understanding the full picture. Later sessions focus on specific tools, patterns, and change.
You’ll always know what stage we’re at and what we’re working toward. If something isn’t working, I’ll address it directly and openly, not leave it unspoken.
Couples sessions include both partners together. Depending on what the situation calls for, we may also use individual sessions alongside couples work, always with your knowledge and consent.
The goal in couples work is never to take sides. It’s to help both of you understand what’s happening and build a way through it together.
Life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, reach out to me as early as you can. Full cancellation and rescheduling terms are shared at the time of booking.
Everything discussed in session is strictly confidential and protected under Indian law. This includes:
Nothing is shared with a partner, family member, or anyone else without your explicit written consent. Full details are on my Privacy and Confidentiality page.
Not every therapist is the right fit for every client, and that’s completely normal. If after a session or two it doesn’t feel right, you’re free to tell me. It won’t be a difficult conversation. Fit matters more than continuing out of politeness.
Most first time clients have some. You’ll find answers to the most common ones on the FAQ page, from what to expect to how confidentiality works in practice.
